About the PhD Program:
The Hosted PhD Program offered through the UKDEGREESMEU partnership with the University of Bedfordshire is a prestigious, fully recognized research program delivered in Jordan, under the supervision of the University of Bedfordshire.
As the highest degree level achievable, a PhD signifies that you have made a meaningful and original contribution to your research field. The British PhD follows a globally recognized format that has been adopted by many countries.
At its core, a UK PhD is an independent research qualification. From the start, your focus is on your individual research project, with the ultimate goal of producing an original thesis that contributes to the understanding of your field.
Unlike some other PhD programs, the British PhD does not include formal taught components. Instead, you will work independently, guided by a Director of Studies from the University of Bedfordshire and a second supervisor from Middle East University.
This 3-year program, accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan, is delivered locally—no travel to the UK required.
